Q. Which product is most effective with deep smile creases on either side of the mouth, and deep frown creases between the brows?
A. For optimal results we recommend a combination of three products: The Perfect C Serum (after cleansing), followed by our Serious Hyaluronic Firming Serum, and then our Deep Repair Cream.

Q. What do you recommend for treating acne naturally?
A. White Cranberry Cleanser, followed by our Clear Skin Serum, a spritz of our Fruit Enzyme Mist, then the Pumpkin Renew Cream. Several times per week, apply the Incredible Pumpkin Peel. Alternate with the Cranberry Mud Mask.

Q. What is Hyaluronic Acid? (Used in our Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum and Serious Hyaluronic Firming Serum, our Fabulous Eye Cream, Revitalizing Night Cream and Fruit Fiesta Peel).
A. It is the largest component of collagen, and occurs naturally in the body's connective tissues like the joints, eyes, heart valves and the skin. As we age, the body's production of HA declines rapidly. Therefore, when collagen is produced in a mature human being, it is produced in an inferior way as compared to the younger years when HA is flowing abundantly throughout the skin and joints. We utilize the chirally correct form of HA (L-sodium hyaluronate, which happens to be the form the body produces) in our formulas for optimal absorption and utilization.

Q. What do you recommend for rosacea?
A. We have a regime for rosacea and have received excellent feedback with it. If yours is the acne type, use our White Cranberry Cleanser, if not (and you have dry skin), use our Honeydew Cleanser. Follow the cleanser with Capillary Calming Serum, a spritz of the Fruit Enzyme Mist (use anytime throughout the day due to its hydrating, anti-inflammatory properties), and then the Pumpkin Renew Cream (for the acne type) or the Deep Repair Cream. At night, use our Revitalizing Night Cream (if over age 35). Once or twice a month, give your skin a special treatment (for the acne type) with the Incredible Pumpkin Peel . If you experience rosacea with severely dehydrated skin, please use the Guava Cactus Mask at least once a week.

Q. What if your skin is dry, but oily in the t-zone?
A. Use the Honeydew Cleanser, (if you like creamy cleansers) or the Fruit Enzyme Cleanser (if you prefer bubbly cleansers), followed by our Clear Skin Serum (spot treat in the oily areas), then layer on the Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum, a spritz of the Fruit Enzyme Mist, and then the Deep Repair Cream. If you are over age 35, you may include the Perfect C Serum (before the Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum) and the Revitalizing Night Cream before bed at night.

Q. What are parabens?
A. Parabens are chemical preservatives found in most body care products. They accumulate in the tissues of the body over time, potentially causing harm. They can be so persistent in living tissues that exposed offspring have an increased risk of reproductive abnormalities. Recent evidence also indicates that topical parabens have been detected in human breast tumors. This is of great concern as parabens have been shown to mimic the action of the female hormone estrogen, which can encourage the growth of breast tumors. Of course, MyChelle products are completely free of parabens!

Q. Can I use your sunscreen on my face without it feeling greasy or making me break out?
A. Our Sun Shield SPF 28 is an anti-aging, non-toxic, full spectrum UVA-UVB sunscreen which preserves skin's moisture without clogging pores or feeling greasy. It is also non eye irritating!

Q. What products would you recommend for brown spots and pigmentation?
A. The best product to help with brown spots is our Fruit Fiesta Peel as it contains L-lactic acid which helps with skin discoloration. This peel contains super concentrated AHAs, BHAs and fruit enzymes that gently loosen and dissolve dead skin cells and stimulate collagen production, while antioxidants and nutrient-dense purees nourish the skin. This age defying treatment with hyaluronic acid leaves skin feeling smooth and revitalized. For pigmentation, we would also recommend out Perfect C Serum (with 15% L-ascorbic acid), our Fruit Enzyme Scrub (a skin refiner), our Revitalizing Night Cream, as well as the Fruit Fiesta Peel. Always follow up with our Sun Shield SPF 28 to prevent additional pigmentation.

Q. What can I use for very dry skin?
A. For dry skin, we recommend our Honeydew Cleanser, our Perfect C Serum, the Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum, Fruit Enzyme Mist and Deep Repair Cream, along with our Fabulous Eye Cream. At night, before bed, we also recommend our Revitalizing Night Cream, especially if you are older than 35. You may also use our Fruit Fiesta Peel 2 or 3 X Week.

Q. Does the Lip Plumping Treatment really work and do you have to keep using it for the results to last?
A. Yes, the treatment really works! The polypeptide in the Lip Plumping Treatment has been clinically proven to enhance the volume of lip tissue (up to 40% of what you have lost due to aging) in 29 days if used a minimum of 3 X day, as directed on the label. This polypeptide stimulates collagen and Hyaluronic Acid synthesis for more voluptuous lips. Our formula contains oils and antioxidants and a chain of polypeptides from plants that form a protein bond which stimulates even aging lips to reproduce hyaluronic acid and collagen. After discontinuing the treatment, your lips will slowly return to the way they were before treatment, probably within several weeks.

Q. How and when do I apply the serums, especially if I'm using more than one?
A. Our serums are designed to be layered, one on top of the other, without concern for drying or absorption time in between, as they are formulated to work synergistically with one another. Apply after cleansing, before toning and nourishing. We recommend that you apply the Perfect C Serum first (if it is part of your regime), as the L-ascorbic acid stimulates and supports the enzymes in the skin that produce and maintain collagen and the hyaluronic acid in two of our serums works with vitamin C to help rebuild collagen.

FRUIT ENZYME CLEANSER (FEC)

Q. Can I use the FEC for removing make-up?
A. Yes, all of our cleansers are very effective for removing all makeup even water proof mascara.

Q. How long will this cleanser last?
A. All of our cleansers are super concentrated and will last a very long time. 2.1 oz. cleanser will last approximately one month. The larger 4.4. oz size will last over two months.

Q. I have dry mature skin and do not enjoy using creamy cleansers. Can I use the Fruit Enzyme Cleanser or will it be too dry?
A. Yes, you can enjoy the FEC and its bubbly action without drying out your skin. Remember, you must always tone and nourish after cleansing your skin to reestablish a proper pH balance, nourish and protect.

Q. Will the glycolic acid in the FEC make my skin flake?
A. No, the glycolic will gently loosen dead skin cells and the fruit enzymes will immediately dissolve these loosened skin cells leaving a squeaky clean feeling.

Q. What is glycolic acid polymer?
A. Glycolic acid polymer is a very effective AHA from rhubarb and is less irritating to the skin due to the unique, straight molecular structure.

HONEYDEW CLEANSER (HDC)

Q. Do I have to use a washcloth or sponge to remove this cleanser?
A. No, this is a water and oil soluble creamy cleanser which is effectively rinsed with warm water.

Q. How does this creamy cleanser clean my skin?
A. Honey enzymes gently dissolve dead skin cells and provide phenomenal anti-bacterial properties. The green is from the seaweed and chlorophyll which together are detoxifying, remineralizing, healing and balancing. This is an unsurpassed creamy cleanser that gets the job done.

Q. Can I use the HDC to remove my eye makeup?
A. Yes, as a matter of fact, it is a fantastic makeup remover for all skin types and will not clog your pores.

Q. Can I alternate the honeydew with the fruit enzyme cleanser?
A. Yes, many of our customers will use the fruit enzyme cleanser in the evening and the honeydew in the morning or vice versa. Some have commented that they like to use the honeydew in the cold winter months and switch back to FEC when temperatures rise again.

Q. Can I leave the cleanser on a longer period of time before I wash it off?
A. Yes, as a matter of fact, there are many holistic spas across the country that use MyChelle in their treatments. One treatment incorporates the use of either cleansers Honeydew, Fruit Enzyme of Cranberry to be left on the skin for five minutes while receiving an acupressure treatment. In doing so, you allow the enzymes and the honeydew cleanser to digest more dead skin cells. Some spas will even use steam.

CRANBERRY CLEANSER (CC)

Q. Will the cranberry cleanser dry out my skin?
A. No, any cleanser that you use, you should always tone and nourish after cleansing. This phenomenal cleanser provides unsurpassed antimicrobial activity to destroy the bacteria causing acne. In addition, a cranberry cleanser has a high concentration of antioxidant protection.

Q. How does the Cranberry Cleanser work on acne skin?
A. Cranberry extract, totarol, organic tea tree oil, and essential oil of organic lemongrass all have powerful antibacterial properties as well as antioxidant values. The Totarol is especially effective in destroying the Proprionibacterium that causes the infection of acne lesions. L-lactic acid, glycolic acid polymer, and azelaic acids are fantastic exfoliators and posess antibacterial properties in the fight against acne. By exfoliating effectively, and cleaning the hair follicle, we allow the skin to perform tissue respiration more effectively. Most acne sufferers do not have a very effective cellular turnover, allowing dead skin cells to remain in the pores to accumulate and harbor bacteria. These aforementioned acids work together brilliantly to help normalize the sloughing off of dead skin cells.

In a nutshell, the Cranberry Cleanser:

1. Kills acne causing bacteria
2. Unclogs smothered pores
3. Reduces inflammation
4. Calms oil producing glands

Q. I am 70 years old and love the smell of your cranberry cleanser. I do not have acne, but can I still use this cleanser?
A. Yes, as a matter of fact many of our customers feel the same about the wonderful aroma of the cranberry cleanser and use it even though they have oily and acne skin. This cleanser leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, thoroughly exfoliated and quenched with antioxidants. It even has pore minimizing effects. Remember to always follow cleansing with the Fruit Enzyme Mist and skin specific nourishing cream.

Q. I am in my forties and still experience skin breakouts. Is this the right cleanser for me?
A. Yes, this would be a fantastic cleanser for you to fight those occasional breakouts.

FRUIT ENZYME MIST (FEM)

Q. Do I have to use a toner after cleansing?
A. Yes because an effective cleanser should not be pH balanced and therefore pH balance must be reestablished after cleansing. But a toner should provide more that just pH balancing. At MyChelle we offer a toner that provides fruit enzymes to softer your skin, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory ingredients and super hydrators.

Q. I love your Fruit Enzyme Mist and find myself using it throughout the day. Can I overdo it?
A. No, we actually recommend misting your skin throughout the day to provide anti-inflammatory ingredients. Especially if you live in a dry climate or travel much, this product will be your best friend to avoid those fine lines and wrinkles. Remember, the difference between a prune and a plum is water, not oil. So hydrate, hydrate, hydrate with our Fruit Enzyme Mist.

Q. You only have one toner. Is it o.k. for my daughter and me with acne and problem skin as well as for my dry, sun damaged, mature skin to use the same Fruit Enzyme toning mist?
A. Yes, the beauty of our FEM is that it provides benefits for all skin types. There is no need to add a different toner for different skin types. All skin types can benefit from fruit enzymes, antioxidants, anti inflammatories, and hydrators.

PUMPKIN RENEW CREAM (PRC)

Q. Can I really use PRC on my acne? I am afraid of adding more oil to my already oily skin.
A. Yes and this is the hardest to overcome when one faces acne. But the benefit of the pumpkin seed oil in PRC is that it is rich in essential fatty acids (EFA’s). These EFA’s provide anti-inflammatory properties and regulate sebum (oil) production. If you are too oily, it will reduce the over activity of the sebaceous glands, if you are too dry, the EFA’s will bump up the oil production of these oil producing glands. In addition, pumpkin seeds contain high amounts of minerals, especially zinc. Zinc is imperative to the healing process of the skin and is a fantastic antioxidant.

Q. I am 55 and love your PRC. Is this the best cream for me?
A. The best cream for anyone over 35 years of age would be the deep repair cream since it has more cellular renewal properties. If you have been an avid sun worshiper for years and have premature wrinkles, you would be best served with the Supreme Polypeptide Cream.

DEEP REPAIR CREAM (DRC)

Q. Can I use the DRC in the a.m. and p.m.?
A. Yes, in the a.m. we want to provide the skin nutrients to deal with the stress and environmental pollution that it is exposed to throughout the day. In the p.m., it is important to assist the skin with nutrients to fully optimize the regenerating process of the body when slipping into the deep sleep patterns when tissue repair is at its peak.

Q. Can I use the DRC around the eyes?
A. Yes, but I would suggest following with Fabulous Eye Cream for best results.

Q. I thought retinol was dangerous to your skin and body.
A. Our retinol comes from sweet potatoes, carrots, and cantaloupe. It is a fantastic skin healer and increases cellular turnover. In our formulas we never use a concentration that would be harmful.

Q. Is Retin A the same as retinol?
A. No, Retin A is a sensitized form of Vitamin A that is very toxic and effective in obliterating the stratum corneum (outer most layer of your skin). Long term use can lead to ultra sensitivity to the sun, liver toxicity, and even liver cancer. Retinol on the other hand is a natural form of Vitamin A when used properly can be very effective in assisting the skin in healing and cellular turnover.

FABULOUS EYE CREAM (FEC)

Q. At what age should I start using eye cream?
A. At 18 most peoples’ skin around the eyes is ready for additional hydration and lubrication. By starting at this age, we can prevent early onset of wrinkles and crows feet around the eyes.

Q. Can I use the polypeptide cream instead of FEC?
A. No, the Supreme Polypeptide will not substitute for our FEC. You should layer the Supreme Polypeptide Cream for optimum results.

REVITALIZING NIGHT CREAM (RNC)

Q. Do I need the RNC if I am using Deep Repair Cream?
A. Revitalizing Night Cream is designed to add extra hydration and antioxidant protection for dry/mature skin. So if you are 35 and older, and feel a deep repair cream is not enough, you should definitely add a RNC to your daily regimen.

Q. I love the smell and feel of the RNC. Can I use it as a day cream?
A. Absolutely!! It is not an uncommon practice, especially if you live in a dry climate. I would still recommend layering the RNC with either one of the serums, Deep Repair Cream, or Supreme Polypeptide Cream.

SUPREME POLYPEPTIDE CREAM (SPC)

Q. I have been using the Deep Repair Cream for the past two years with great results. Should I switch to the SPC?
A. If you are happy with the results from the Deep Repair Cream and do not have wrinkles that you are concerned about, No. It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. The best regimen for mature/wrinkled skin would be to use both the Deep Repair Cream and the Supreme Polypeptide Cream. You can first apply the Deep Repair Cream and follow with the Supreme Polypeptide Cream.

Q. What does the Supreme Polypeptide Cream smell like?
A. We offer a scented with neroli/rose or you can choose the unscented one.

Q. Can I use the Supreme Polypeptide Cream under the Fabulous Eye Cream?
A. Yes, you can use the Supreme Polypeptide Cream all over your face and then follow around the eye area with the Fabulous Eye Cream.

Q. What is Matrixyl 3000TM?
A. Matrixyl 3000TM is a patented polypeptide proven to rejuvenate the fibroblasts in the skin responsible for collagen production.

Q. Where does Matrixyl 3000TM come from?

THE PERFECT C SERUM (PCS)

Q. Why do you use L-ascorbic acid?
A. L-ascorbic acid is the most effective form of Vitamin C vital to the production of collagen and elastin.

Q. I have been using a C serum that does not disclose the potency of Vitamin C. Will it still work?
A. Be leery of any C serum that does not list the percentage of Vitamin C. You must have at least 10% L-ascorbic acid in a formula to be effective as a collagen promoter. Anything less than 10% is ineffective. At MyChelle we offer 17% with other antioxidants to synergistically strengthen the skin and fight free radical damage while supporting collagen production.

Q. I noticed my blemishes healing much faster when I use the Perfect C Serum. Is this possible?
A. Yes, the Perfect C Serum speeds the healing of your skin. So if you have a cut or acne, The Perfect C Serum is a perfect remedy to speed the healing and reduce the inflammation. It also minimizes scar tissue formation.

Q. How do I use The Perfect C Serum?
A. After cleansing and before toning. Then apply your favorite MyChelle nourishing cream.

Q. How long will a bottle last?
A. About 25 to 30 days. All you need is two calibrated pumps, no more.

Q. Can I use other MyChelle serums with the C serum?
A. Yes, serums can be layered. Always start with The Perfect C Serum since it is the most acidic of all MyChelle serums, then layer away to suit your specific skin needs. Always remember to Mist with the Fruit Enzyme Mist after applying your serums and follow with your favorite MyChelle nourishing cream.

CLEAR SKIN SERUM (CSS)

Q. Can I use CSS all over my face? Will it dry my skin?
A. Yes, you can use the CSS all over your face or just spot treat your problem area. The key is to tone with the Fruit Enzyme Mist and then follow with the pumpkin renew cream.

Q. I noticed that my blackheads around my nose have reduced. Is it possible that the CSS could have that effect?
A. Yes, the CSS has that effect. It helps minimize pores, lessen the occurrences of black and white heads and fight infection of active acne lesions.

INCREDIBLE PUMPKIN PEEL (IPP)

Q. How long can I leave the IPP on my face?
A. It depends on you skin type. Typically you can leave the IPP on for a minimum of five minutes. You will feel a slight tingling which is normal. If it is too uncomfortable, rinse, tone and follow with your favorite MyChelle nourishing cream. It you have dry/sensitive skin, try to leave it on your skin for one minute+ intervals. Eventually you can work your way up to five minutes. Oily, Acne skin will be able to work their way up to ten minutes per treatment. Always tone and nourish with MyChelle products following the use of the IPP.

Q. How often can I use the IPP?
A. It depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you have acne/oily skin or wish to enhance, you can start with five minutes per day for the first four days, then every other day for four treatments. Thereafter, apply as needed or every three or four days depending on the condition of your skin. For normal skin, the IPP makes a great exfoliator and vitamin A treatment once a week.

Q. I am afraid to use any peels since I was burned in the past. Are all peels equal?
A. There are many peels to choose from including Deep Peels, Medium-Depth Peels, and Superficial Peels. What MyChelle offers with our fruit peels is a Superficial Peel. This will guarantee that we will never cause hypo-pigmentation or severe burns. In addition we incorporate fruit pulps to offer your skin powerful antioxidants to fight free radical damage while encouraging healthy cellular turnover.

Q. What results can I expect from one of your peels?
A. If you have problem/acne skin, you can expect your acne lesions to heal more rapidly and inflammation associated with acne will be reduced. With regular use, you should expect to keep your problem skin under control. Normal or mature skin can experience a brightening up and smoothness of your complexion. With time you will notice less hyper pigmentation, if sun screen is used on a daily basis.

Q. What is pumpkin wine?
A. Pumpkin wine is fermented pumpkin juice. When pumpkin juice is fermented, it makes the nutrients more bio-available, and creates more enzymes. This fermentation process creates incredible nutrients for your skin.

Q. I feel a slight tingling when I use the IPP, is it burning my skin?
A. No, the tingling you feel is either from the increased blood flow to your skin or you may be feeling the acids do their job. If you have open acne lesions, you will feel a bit of a sting on the open wounds, but it will not harm your skin. Quite the contrary, the IPP will help heal the acne lesions, due to the high content of natural vitamin A.

FRUIT FIESTA PEEL (FFP)

Q. What is the difference between the Incredible Pumpkin Peel and the FFP?
A. They both can really be enjoyed by all skin types, although the Incredible Pumpkin Peel will be most beneficial to problem/acne and sun damaged skin types, since they have so much to improve upon and the naturally occurring Vitamin A can be of great benefit. The Fruit Fiesta Peel was designed to treat dry/ mature skin and assist the natural process of cellular turn over and tissue respiration, in addition to providing hydrators and exceptional antioxidants to the skin.

Q. How often can I use the FFP?
A. It depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you are looking to remove unwanted sun damage and hyper pigmentation, you can use it every day for the first four to five days for three to five minutes. Light tingling will occur. You will also have a flushed appearance after rinsing your face with water. Once you have completed the first four or five days, you can use the FFP every other or third day until desired results have been achieved, thereafter once or twice a week.

Q. I love the smell of the FFP, can I use it even though I have acne/problem skin?
A. Yes, you can use the FFP, although you will get greater results with the Incredible Pumpkin Peel due to the healing properties of the vitamin A in the pumpkin pulp.

Q. My pores appeared tighter after the use of FFP, does this peel have pore tightening effects?
A. Yes, with regular use of the FFP you can experience a tighter look and feel of skin.

CRANBERRY MUD MASK (CMM)

Q. Is the CMM drying?
A. No, not in the least the way traditional mud masks dry your skin. It is formulated not to completely dry and crack on your skin; rather it stays a bit moist. The drawing action of the bentonite and kaolin are exceptional for problem skin. We also added totarol, rosemary essential oil, and lemon grass essential oil for their antibacterial and oil balancing properties.

Q. I love the feel of clay masks, but I have mature skin. Will the CMM be too intense for me?
A. No, the CMM can be enjoyed by all skin types. Dry/Mature skin types would use the mask every two weeks for a great skin detoxifier.

Q. I have been enjoying great results with the CMM, how often can I use it?
A. To start, if you have acne skin, use everyday for ten minutes until desired results are achieved. There after, as needed, or maybe every other or third day.

Q. Can I spot treat with the CMM?
A. Yes.

FRUIT ENZYME SCRUB (FES)

Q. How often can I use the FES?
A. It is gentle enough to be used everyday, although I like to recommend using one of our peels and alternating the use of them.

Q. What are jojoba beads?
A. Jojoba beads are made from jojoba wax. They are gentle little round beads used in finer scrubs to gently, yet effectively provide a scrubbing effect to buff the skin. While putting pressure on these beads they also leave behind a protective oil, very similar to our own sebum. You must use to really appreciate.

Q. What is the best way to use the FES?
A. Just before entering the shower apply to face, leave on face while getting the water temp just right and enter the shower. This allows the fruit enzymes to get activated and start working on softening the dead skin cells on your skin. After washing hair and body, start massaging your skin on your face in a circular motion. Face the stream of water and rinse thoroughly keeping your eyes closed until rinsing is complete. Your skin will feel renewed and squeaky clean.

Q. I have dry skin, can I use the FES?
A. You sure can. Remember, even if you were to choose the Cranberry Cleanser designed for acne /problem skin, you should always follow with the Fruit Enzyme Mist that provides a transition from more acidic formulas to more neutral. Then you should always follow with your favorite, age appropriate nourishing cream.

Q. What are scrub beads?
A. They are tiny polyethylene round polished severs, specifically produced for the cosmetic and toiletry industry to be gentle and non-abrasive. Since they are perfect, round, polished severs, they support and work synergistically with the polishing effect of the jojoba beads without ever abrading or chafing your skin.

BODY AMBROSIA (BA)

Q. Can I use BA on my baby and children?
A. Yes, as a matter of fact, BA is often used on babies to normalize and protect their very new and sensitive skin. Remember, a little goes a long way.
